Printing Your Turkey Matching Game
The first thing to do is to download the PDF file and save it to your computer. I recommend using a thicker paper rather than traditional copy paper. This gives the cards more stability and helps them to last longer. It also helps to prevent the cards from being see through. Card stock or matte photo paper is the best choice.

Tips for Using This Free Thanksgiving Game
This fun Thanksgiving memory game is easy to download and print. I am making this file double sided so that you can include the background on the cards. This makes it harder to see through the cards. I still recommend using a heavy cardstock when printing.
If you don’t want to make these cards double sides, you can print the card pages each on on their own. Then the kids can color on the back of the cards, or glue them to cardboard. You can use cereal boxes for an easy cardboard for the backing.

How to Play a Matching Game
Printable Thanksgiving Memory Card Game is fun and easy to play. This printable game is just like the store bought version, except you get to print it at home.
After cutting out the cards, give them a good shuffle. Place the cards face down in random order. Then each player takes turns flipping over 2 cards. if it is a match, the player keeps the cards. If it is not a match, the cards get flipped back over. The point is to try to remember where the cards are so that on your turn, you can make a match.
The player with the most matches at the end of the game wins.

For younger kids, you can use 20 cards and slowly move up. Or if you are playing as a family, you can make it into a group activity or play as teams.

- Thanksgiving Printable Memory Card Game. Click the link and download the file. Once you have it download, print it out, using the double sided feature on your printer. This is located in the settings on most printers. You can opt to only print the card on paper if you do not want the backing.
- Paper- I recommend cardstock paper. If the paper is too thin, the cards can be seen through the paper even with the background. .
- Printer– You only need a basic printer to print this memory game. You can use a inkjet printer or a laser printer
Other Things You Might Want
- Laminator and laminating paper– This is great being able to make the memory cards last. Laminating machines are low cost and work great. There is also maintaining papers sold separately that work without a machines. Some people also use clear contact paper to laminate the sheets of paper as a DIY method.
- Paper Cutter– Using a paper cutter makes cutting the cards out even easier.
How to Play the Game
Print the memory card game.
Cut out the pages and cards.
Shuffle the cards and place them all face down on the floor or table.
All of the players take turns flipping over 2 cards. If the cards match, the player gets to keep the cards and go again.
Once the cards are all matched, the person with the most matches wins.
