Finger Paint Name Art Craft For Preschoolers
Partnering with Crayola for this super fun toddler craft made our week a lot of fun. Hannah sees the big kids having fun with their markers, paints and crayons and always wants to join in the fun. Well, now thanks to the new My First Crayola products she has her own set of art supplies that are built just for her little hands.
With the new My First Crayola products making this Toddler Name Canvas Painting Craft was easy to do and Hannah had a blast making it.

The new My First Crayola products are just the right thing that the little kids need to start exploring their imagination and critical thinking skills. The different stages for the new Crayola products make it easy to help your little ones express their creativity and for us Moms to help them along the way. There are different stage products that help with certain things. Stage 1 products for example are ergonomically designed palm (egg shaped) crayon for coloring. They help with the littles migrating and moving on to the next stage, for example the Stage 2 triangular crayon.

One thing that is always a hit in my house is painting canvases. With all of my kids I have had them paint canvases since the time that they were little. They get to explore their creativity and art skills, and then I get to have awesome memory art to hang on my wall.
I do a lot of handprint art with the kids, but this time I wanted to change things up a bit. I thought it would be awesome to have Hannah’s name on the canvas with her painting the canvas. This steamed the idea for this Toddler Name Canvas Painting Craft.
This toddler painting name craft is super easy to make and you only need a few things to get it done.

How to Make Finger Paint Name Art Craft
To get started put the Crayola My First Art Smock on your kiddo. This way you don’t end up with paint all over their clothing.
Using painters tape spell out your child’s name on the canvas.

Using the My First Crayola Fingerpaint Kit remove the finger paint (We used the paper that comes with it just for fun creativity after making our canvas). Set up the painting area for your kiddo with the My First Jumbo Paint Brushes and finger paint. Squirt some of each color on to a plate – You can use a paper plate or a plastic plate for this.
Take out the My First Crayola Washable Paint Brush Pens and set them with the paint and paintbrushes.

Have your child sit down at the table, with the blank white canvas in front of them.
Have your child use the My First Crayola Washable Paint Brush Pens, My First Jumbo Paint Brushes and the finger paints to paint the canvas. Give them the freedom to paint as they wish, let them have fun exploring their painting skills.

Once they are done painting their canvas, remove the painters tape carefully. As you pull the painters tape up you will have the name showing and the painting around the name.
Allow the paint to dry then pick your favorite place on the wall to hang it up and enjoy.
