Frankenstein Footprint Canvas Art
I can not lie I love little baby and kids footprints and handprint crafts! Any time I can get my kids hands and feet involved in a craft I am the happiest I can be. I want to cherish the moments when my kids are small and much of that comes with making keepsakes with thier handprints and footprints.
When it came time for Halloween crafts a few years ago I wanted to think out of the box and came up with this fun Frankenstein craft. I wanted something cute but not so scary and not the traditional Halloween kids craft. Normally Frankenstein is scary but with this Frankenstein craft for kids is hard to be scary when made with kids footprints. But that is ok with me, I was aiming for cute and I think they are the most adorable Frankenstein footprints I have ever seen!
These monsters are so cute its hard for them to be scary. When you are trying to get your child’s foot prints I recommend you sit them in their high chair. This way they are not able to touch their feet and they are in a comfortable seat. Much to my surprise he was laughing the whole time I painted his feet. Baby wipes are the best way to remove the paint off of their feet.

Tips for Making this Craft
If you are making this with a baby then you will want to have them sit down, and if they are really little I highly suggest you have them sit in a highchair.
Easy clean up. I recommend having a container of baby wipes at the table you were working out so you’re able to wipe off the paint from their little feet before they can get it all over your walls on the way to the bathroom to wash their feet.
Paint the feeet vs using a plate. You can have the kids place their feet into a pool of paint on a paper plate but I find that gets kinda messy because then they drip paint everywhere, so I suggest putting the paint onto a paper plate and using a foam sponge to put the paint on their feet.
Allow them to fully dry. It is important that you let the paint fully dry before moving the canvases.
