Variations of this recipe
Use Candy instead of frosting. When you are making the mouth and the eyes you can use candy instead of frosting. M&Ms, mini M&Ms, mini chocolate chips, and Reece’s Pieces are great options for the snowman face if you do not want to use frosting. You can also use candy carrots for the nose instead of frosting.
Use homemade brownies. While boxed brownies are great for a quick-to-make recipe if you are wanting to make homemade brownies for the snowman brownies you totally can. I love using my favorite homemade brownies recipe.
Use Homemade Frosting. If you are wanting to go fully homemade with this recipe you can. Homemade frosting is great as long as it is white frosting like a snowman. If using homemade frosting I use vanilla buttercream, marshmallow buttercream, or Almond Buttercream Frosting.
Change up the size of the brownies. You can use whatever size circle cookie cutter you want to. The large 3 inch cookie cutter will get you 6 large snowman brownies. If you want smaller brownies use a smaller circle cookie cutter.
Make them Santa Snowmen Brownies. Using the frosting and some mini marshmallows and red sprinkles you can draw a santa hat on top with the frosting and use a mini marshmallow for the hat puff. Sprinkle red sugar sprinkles insiide the hat outline to color the hat
