What can I use to wrap my mummy?
I am using pieces of paper to wrap the mummy. It is an inexpensive way to cover the roll. You can also use white crepe paper or streamer paper. Wrap it around the tp roll just like you would using the paper.
Can I use Paper Towel Rolls Instead?
If you have paper towel rolls on hand instead of toilet paper rolls, you can use them instead. I like to cut the rolls in half because I feel like the mummies will be too tall if you make it using the whole roll. Plus, then you can make 2 instead if just the one.
Just use a pair of sharp scissors to cut it in half, in the middle, to create 2 rolls.

What Ways Can I Make My Mummy Face?
I am using large googly eyes to make the mummy face. You can also use pieces of black and white construction paper. Cut out a large black circle and then a smaller white circle. Glue them together and then glue it onto the the mummy face.
You can also have the kids draw the face on the mummy. Kids can use pens, markers or paint markers to make the face.
Paint can also be used. It is always a little harder to use a paint brush, but kids really enjoy any reason to paint, so this can be a very fun way to create the face.
How Can I Use this Toilet Paper Mummy?
The kids are going to love to play with the toilet paper mummy. We love to use them like puppets. The kids will also use them as play toys to act out stories. They ca be used to be played with dolls and action figures as well.
You can also use them as decoration around the house. You can place the mummies on shelves or on the mantle. The toilet paper mummy can also be hung on the wall. When I am hanging them on the wall. I like to use a thumb tack and press it in on the inside. This way the tack is hidden from the outside but it is secured to the wall.
