Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan whisk together the flour, salt, cream of tartar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
  • Whisk in the oil and water to the flour mixture.
  • Heat the mixture over medium-low heat until dough begins to pull away from the sides of the pan and creates a ball.
  • Allow the mixture to cool for 5 minutes then knead the dough to create the playdough texture.
  • Place the dough on a plater with fun extras like cookie cutters, googly eyes, and buttons
