Print the turkey craft template.
Using a paint brush and brown paint, paint the paper plate brown and allow it to dry completely. This is the turkey's body.
Cut the turkey template pieces out of the white paper.
Lay the cut sections on top of the colored construction paper for each piece and cut it out. You can also trace the template piece and then cut it out to make things easier.
Cut out the shapes on the template from the corresponding colors: Wing: Tan, Head and neck: Brown, Yellow: Beak, Eyes: White and Black, Turkey's Feathers: Red, Yellow, Orange, Wattle: Red
When the paint is dry lay the plate painted side up.
Glue the tan wing in the center part of the paper plate of the painted plate turkey body.
Next, glue the turkey head and neck piece on top of the round end of the wing.
Glue the beak onto the top front of the head.
Glue the eyes on the head of the turkey above the beak.
Glue the red wattle below the beak.
Allow the front of the plate parts to dry and then flip the plate over.
Glue the colored feathers to the back of the paper plate which is the back of the turkey.
Glue the wings to the back side of the plate, sticking up above.
