Why is Fluffy Slime called Fluffy slime?
Fluffy slime is super fluffy and pillowy soft. You make fluffy slime just like you do regular slime but then add in shaving cream to make it fluffy. The more shaving cream you add the fluffier it will get. If you want perfect fluffy slime be sure to follow the instructions of this recipe perfectly. For our fluffy slime recipe we use contact solution instead of borax or liquid starch because we find it is easier and I do not like young children using the chemicals that are with borax and liquid starch.
How long will fluffy slime last?
The fluffiness of the slime will only last about a day even if it is stored properly. It will still be fluffier then your normal slime but not as fluffy as when you first make it after you have stored it.
How do you know if slime is overactivated?
When you are making slime you need to use slime activators, for our recipe we use saline solution (other recipes for slime call for using borax or liquid starch but we prefer to use saline solution for our slime recipes). If you add too much saline solution then your slime will got from being slime like to very rubbery and break apart easily.
How do you keep slime from sticking to your hand when making it?
Fluffy slime is sticky when it is being made so you can use gloves while you are making it or you can rub your hands with baby oil or lotion before making the slime to keep it from sticking to your hands.

How do you fix a stiff fluffy slime?
If your slime is dry and stiff that does not mean that it is ruined. Add the slime to a small bowl and then add a little bit of water to the bowl and squish the slime with the water to add the water to the ball of slime and incorporate the water into the slime to bring it back to being stretchy and fun.
How to store Fluffy Slime
Butter slime needs to be stored in an airtight container. When stored properly it will last for about a week. You can also store it in a zip close plastic bag and squeeze the air out of it.

Butter slime is stretchy and fluffy because when it is made you also use shaving cream (which makes it fluffy) along with the normal slime ingredients that make it stretchy. To get the perfect fluffy slime recipe you will be adding foaming shaving cream to the basic slime recipe to get the perfect homemade fluffy slime recipe that the kids will love playing with.

What is the best glue for slime?
The best glue to use when making slime is Elmer’s white glue. For this slime recipe we are using white school glue, but other recipes that we have use clear glue and we always suggest using Elmer’s glue as we find it is the best glue for slime making.
What is the best contact solution to use as a Slime activator when making slime?
When making slime it is important that the ingredients in your saline solution has the ingredients needed to react with the glue so the slime forms. Whatever brand of contact lens solution you use must have boric acid and sodium borate in the ingredient list.
What is the best Shaving cream to use for fluffy slime?
The cheap foaming shaving cream is the best shaving cream to use. I do not suggest using gel shaving cream, while it fluffs up when you are using it to shave, you need to use your hands to make it fluffy before putting it into the slime. You also want to be careful not to add to much shaving cream as it will make the slime start to get liquid instead of being a slime consistency. Be sure to follow the measurements we have shared in this slime recipe. Do not use shave gel as it does now work the same as the fluffy shaving cream.
How do you color fluffy slime?
I find the best way to color slime is using liquid food coloring. You only need a few drops and it can be any of the colors you want to. If you want to you can make this slime different colors by changing out the color food coloring that you use in the recipe. For Valentine Slime I recommend using pink, red or purple.
